The 101th time...

With 100 posts already in my kitty in the year 2005, here I am, with my 101th, in the new year 2007. I guess I did my rituals of wishing all my close ones a happy new year. The new year ushers in so many resolutions for people. When I open a paper or a magazine to read, almost every star or an actor seem to be setting in their expectations out of themselves for the year 2007.
When I think of what I would resolve for this year - I have umpteen things on my to-do. But everything else taking a backseat, I hope this year ain't as bad and ugly as the year gone by. If I ever have to make comparisons, I guess the year gone by would be the most melodramatic and lousy year for me. So many facets of life opened up - for good and for bad. Most of all, I was at my worst self. And because of that, I saw the worst in everybody else too...I lost myself completely and I hope I get back to finding myself again..whatever it may take.
I started the first day of the year with a jog, early in the morning, in the streets of mumbai...a lovely lonely road stretching across mallad..eve was just about ok...went partying to a pool side party, dancing...my kiddo won a prize for the maximum number of clips on her hair and was back home by 1.30 am..
Since then, it is only shopping i have indulged in...oh man, clothesrack is one place I think even Delhi should open up...you get what you want at unbelievable prices- every brand under one roof. I think I have bought almost every brand of tees - Tommy H, Christian Dior, Guess, GAP, Nike, Old Navy, Lee, Levis...and two smart jeans...my summer shopping is almost done...and am already about 6-7k down. Ah, my kiddo is learnign fast day before it was a blue sports shoe she ordered us to buy, and yesterday it was a blue denim jacket that she asked the salesperson in the shop to make her wear..and then asked us to pick for her.
Today, we intend going to fashion street..to check out what is it like...friday we leave for Alibaug for the weekend...
