A 6 am Posty!!!

Onset of winters – so is the make-believe in the morning – cool breeze touching the soul of your skin, misty mornings with a certain fragrance in the air that reminds you of winters – sitting here in the balcony, the time is 6.10 a.m – on a Sunday morning. I must thank God for waking me up at 5.30 today with so much of freshness. One look outside the window and I knew what I had to do – quickly freshened up, put on my jogging shoes, gave a reassuring glance to my sleeping little angel that I will be back soon, and off I went – on the bizarre streets of this place. Early mornings tempt me to feel the freshness in the air – that time of the dawn, when sun ain’t visible and there is very little light around, when the breeze is fresh, and there is dew on every leaf that you see, and no one in the streets…Pity for so many months now, I just let it be and missed the fun. I hope (and I shall not promise this time) I maintain the rhythm of early morning walks and jogs, since gyming seems a distant dream with the tight schedule that I am living in. Amen.

So Sunday morning 5.30 a.m – not a bad start of the day (considering the fact that I was up until 1 the previous night - racking my brains over the wedding card designs - a contract I am hoping will fetch me some money if the designs get selected. I have made the drafts of about 5 cards, the rest of the jazz will be added only if I get the accessories from Sadar bazaar. Someone help me!! Thats one place I can't go on my own. Nuttynut, I know you promised to help - let's see)!
Been working on the same F&A proposal ever since I came back from the jog – I hope it goes smooth – a lot at stake. I can see a few people doing ‘pranayaam’ on their balconies (a sweet old lady, quite old, somewhere in her late seventies, trying her best to inhale and exhale with a finger on her nose..if only she could sit on a mat and do it peacefully, rather than standing on that balcony, which is anyway messed up with junk) and also in the park that is partially visible from my balcony. Baba Raamdev – sure has bought some revolution in the fitness world. Thanks to him, lot of oldies and even the younger lot have become aware of the reaping benefits of yoga. My salutations to him – for the mere fact that he keeps the country folks so bonded with patriotism. I like the spirit in him and the fact that in today’s world, he has the zeal to think about the country, which had dying roots of patriotism, except when it comes to cricket or the likes. When you are on roads, do you realize how much of empathy and compassion fellow Indians have among themselves. Sorry state of affairs but that’s the way it is, I guess. I wish everybody could follow ‘Gandhigiri’ – to start with, if I could follow that. The way it was depicted in munnabhai was worth a watch – atleast it did shake up the conscience of many of us. You know, I felt for the first time that maybe that was one way to deal with others. All said and done, I liked it. If we did follow it up even once a day, India would comprise of better human beings. People full of compassion and empathy so to say. Good thought. Back to my proposal now – and another cuppa’ tea.

(By the way – forgot something – my lil one did bungie jumping on Friday evening – at 2 and a half years, it is a task worth mentioning. I have never done it myself. J Little darling, keep it up – I like your spirits and I promise, we will get into the adventure spree real soon – in maybe another year or two)
