Stressed Out Me-self

Oh man, I have been going crazy for this new piece of F&A deal - the big boss wants the deal anyhow, and so has kept everyone up and running. Been missing blogging so much that today I promised myself I will post something even if I have to send out my stuff later by half an hour. :-)

Around 5.30 in the evening, the stress levels are so high, when I have this mounting pressure to complete all my to-dos in order to sneak out of workplace to pick up my little girl from her daycare. Stress - how it helps you lower your short term memory. Yesterday evening, I almost banged into a standing santro when in a hush-rush to get out of the car, I forgot that there is something called a handbreak that needs to be used. I was on phone as I was getting out of the car and suddenly I saw my car moving ahead towards the other car. Just managed to get on to the handbreak on time.

Today in the TOI, there was this article on spending time with your own self, even if it is just lazying around in the house. It brings down your stress levels by atleast 30-40%. A walk in the park, just sitting idle, or gyming are few other anecdotes you may try. I have been thinking of joining the $#@@@ gym for last one month, ever since my brother's boss, who was just 32, died of a massive cardiac arrest, while driving to work. He barely managed to park his car alongside the road and he was dead after that. Grave. Yet, the truth. We corporate folks hardly get time off our hectic schedules to even down the mounting stress.

Folks, ensure some time off the work - just for yourself. Take care of your mind, body, and soul. Cheers.

Hats off to you. It seems you still manage to take care of lot of things all by yourself. and get the time to introspect as well. Signs of soothing stress levels. Take time off from heavy work schedules and relax someday, maybe tomorrow.

yes stress levels and heart problems, man.. one leads to another. My cousin had to undergo a open heart surgery at the age of 36.. sure.. he is a globe trotter and on the move all the time.

We need to really keep ourselves not stressed..
