...JLT postie

All thanks to my team, we slept at 4.45 in the morning yesterday. It is going to be 11 - had a 5 hour sleep. Well, the evening started at 8 - went to a disc..dunno the name yet but was pretty good. Me, Stephanie, Tush, Sandy, Ankur, and Aman. As usual danced like crazy - I liked what I wore...a dress that was with me for quite a long time but never really wore it...and this nice black half jacket on top...Australian pubs and discs are amazing...as compared to Transport, this one had a lot of space...good music, good lighting and nice people around....it actually rocks, unlike most of the Indian pubs...probably because we don't find those kind of pubs in India...Buzz does allow you to dance as well, but then it doesn't have space. Anyway, pubbing has been after a real long time too and I would honestly say I did not mind it either.
Next weekend is a bollywood theme party of a friend from Muaritius - such a pity I did not get any Indian outfit here and hence wondering what will I wear. :( And then we have another birthday party (Tanisha) - a 2.5 years brainy girl and I just adore her.
Yesterday mili goes 'ab thode din reh gaye hain mumma'? And I almost felt like crying when I heard that. I miss her and I miss Manish so much - and my country. It is a sheer compromise to live outside...there is no jazz here! I don't even believe in the fact that you get quality life here. I think India gives you everything - I have never felt the need to settle down outside of my country, not in the recent 6 years. The people on the streets, the rikhsawwalas, the pan shops, cows roaming around the roads in National Highways, people speeding past you, honking at you - all that seems so much fun to me...I don't mind it. I like it that way. And I like my countrymen. Three cheers to India.
