SaaWariya Baawariya

....Mr Bhansali needs to think more than just curled hair, 8-10 metres of clothes drapped around his ladies and the magnificient 'make-believe' sets...they don't impress anymore. Agreed his is a fairytale set up and his heroines usually are intense, passionate lovers...but he cannot make it big with just that as a unique selling feature. SaaWariya is a pathetic story, not sure of which era. It leaves you feeling depressed - the sets haunt you..though am sure a lot of creativity has gone in the making of it and visualizing the whole setup...it is beautiful yet haunting. The young couple - Ranbir and Sonam, given the complexity of their roles, have done a fair deal...the lady looks beautiful..the elegance in metres of clothes altogether with no exposure as such has always appealed to me. (I have a dream..to be drapped in such long drapes..and do what? Guess what...RUN...lolz...as Bhansali's women usually do, with free flowing and floating sarees or duppattas..). FilMy! Absolutely. Ranbir sometimes looks hot. Fresh innocence. Rani mukherjee acts well - I have always believed that. Salman looks like a morone in this one.

So much for SaaWariya - I could not have waited more for the movie to come to an end. The only rejoice was 'Jab se tere naina, mere naino se, laage re'...it is running favorite for me other than 'Tere sawalon ke wo jawaab' from Manorama and 'Ye ishq hai' from Jab we met.

Yesterday night was again one dance session and party - this time at our place. Slept in the wee hours of the morning. 'The Ranch' is moving at a slow pace....I don't like anything which has a sad end.

Gotta' get ready for my music class - today have to catch up with 'ae ree aali, piya bin....sakhi, ae ree aali....'
