Quite a break it was – 5 days in all. Yesterday went by in relaxing, responding to emails from home, watching a stupid story called ‘Zameer’ and listening to some songs. In the evening, went out to MGF mall with Sonu in search of boots. We did not find what we were looking for. Sonu was stuck on one that she saw in NEXT…knee length boots, classy, but not comfortable. Besides, I think I would not want to wear that long one here. I did buy one when I was in Japan and could carry it off pretty well…but not here really. There was on cute black ankle length, little gum bootish but decided not to buy it and go look for some in GK next week...
But finally bought a brown lee cooper comfy wear casual shoes for the time being ..with light pink bands. Pink - it amuses me to think how fond I have become of this color which I never wore in my growing years as far as dresses I wear. Infact, I never came out of earthen shades. Today, besides black, I think I wear more of pinks than any other color.
I detest going to work today - hopefully my last proposal shall this be, but it is one crazy deal again. Some consultants are just too much to handle. They make the vendors go crazy. But in between the proposal (read RFP), there is some relief.
Come friday and we are off from Delhi - probably uphill to Himachal. I have waited long enough to go back to hills and hence am super excited about the trip. Just this one time, I don't care who is going along. I have my own company better than anyone else. And I know I am going to enjoy every bit. Manish went to Mumbai today, will get back on Thursday night and I leave on Friday morning..so it is little bit of Pa and little bit of Ma for little mishi this week. :- )
Good day to you all at work. The day looks bright to me within. Hope it is the same for all of you.
