It was a quick plan, made ina jiffy (like always, we (Sonu & I) reached at the nth hour and then decided to watch the 8.30pm show rather than the 7.25 pm show) - Mr Chopra has done a good job I must say. The way he started the movie was little different from the regular casting of the movie and stuff - good creativity built in. The screen goes blank for about half a minute, with only Big B's voice, which was also ok, though he could have done a better job of it. A very basic story, but the way it was featured giving it a historic touch and the magnificient fort, very picturesque, gave it a rock solid feel.
USP? Hmm...the actors...Big B was good - I think after Black, this one is his best perfromance. The veins showing around his eyes, tears and the expressions on his face - worth a watch. Saif was okay and Viday Balan was good in the only song "Chanda re". Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Dutt were usual. Photography was great - clouds passing through the fort, water drops, and the way they have captured the fort was awesome. Am sure Chopra must have spent a mite in the interiors of the fort.
Except the last 20 minute sequel, net net a good movie to watch. And not a long one. Just about 2 hours and 40 minutes. And a very good dailogue on Dharma!
**The first movie my lil Mishi sat through, without getting up and creating a chos in the hall. :-)
