..extended weekend was as usual busy. It gets even busier when your hubby is in town. 26th went by in meeting up with inlaws and friends, saturday was planned for shopping - we went crazy shopping for the wedding next week. And guess what, this time it wasn't for me at all. :-) For a change, though.
Bought a lehenga for the little one - she is outgrowing most of her dresses with the way she is growing up. She will turn 3 this year and one should see the way she wants to be dressed up. You can't make her wear anything other than what she thinks she wants to wear. Choosy that she is, I could not buy any other lehenga than a blue color. Mishi, please don't trouble mumma so much by being so fussy about the colors atleast. And what the heck, with the sale on almost every store, there is hardly anything worthwhile left for kids. I would have checked every store but could not get a long denim skirt for Mishi, which I so very much wanted her to wear. I guess the better lot has already gone and I have been late in realizing and finding time to shop.
But I am happy I managed to coax my dear husband into buying two exclusive shirts - an awesome black self print shirt and another mauve party wear with a black suit, both from Tuscan Verve. Can't wait to see him wearing them on the wedding.
Its amazing how he can make my head turn even after 6 years, now going to be 7 in April, with that naughty smile on his radiating face. We have weathered many a hard times, rough patches - yet he remains the knight in shinning armour - ready and wanting to protect me from every fall that he predicts well in time.
Cheers to our togetherness.
