Next level...

Why si it that when you write anything which is little different from the usual crap and deeper than the usual thoughts, people think you are in a disturbed state of mind? All that I write here may not always be something that's happening to me...it may just be a thought that I have in mind due to things that I would have heard or spoken to someone.
Anyway, I have to tell you that yesterday evening it almost took me 3.5 hours to reach back home from Gurgaon..it was raining and as usual, the roads were jammed. I was on phone most of the times and it is surprising that while talking to a friend, I did not realize when the mg road that I was driving concluded on a red light that was taking me to chirag delhi. Needless to say more, I lost my way. And this usually happens when it is raining and I have poor visibility to the surroundings. :)
Today I decided to work from home - I don't have the patience to drive again today...my foot is still hurting from yesterday.
Guess what, one of my pictures in facebook..was liked by a good photographer and he actually wants to buy it so that he can frame it and put it up in one of his walls...well, that sure sounds fantastic to me...boosts my ego...and well, I also gotta tell you that I have ordered about 25 prints, of all different sizes for some on my favourite pictures that I have clicked. The ones that are good enough in the printed form shall then be framed and hung on my walls...have been waiting to do this for months now...finally decided it is time.
It is interesting how photography grew in me in these years and today it becomes my most favourite pass time...I definitely think of taking it to the next level and thanks to all my friends out there in the group who help me enhance my work...when I say next level, I mean getting technically sound..i care no more about the aethetics, framing, angles etc...over time, I will hone my skills better there. What I need to get into right now is the technical aspect of photography. Not sure if I am ready for a course yet...but it has been going on in my mind for sometime...won't do any harm...a course that I can do over weekends and that's not really very long...infact a friend Jo did tell me about the photosensitive course which is for 4 weekends and costs only about 8k...but before that I think I should learn the basics.
Yesterday was speaking to friend about this and hence all of it here....:) bear with me please...and yeah, its a thursday - just a day before the weekend begins...so guys..enjoy, work hard and then party harder...

My Colors...

..Tough but decided that I will be away from the camera for the whole of next week. A crazily hectic week ahead and I have not idea how will I manage multitasking...from shifting to meeting deadlines to going fro a training to reaching out to Milsy's school folks for her school dress to the orientation session that is planned. With Manish gone for the whole of this week, things are going to be all the more painful. I wonder if I the decision to shift all by myself is a good idea at all. We will see...but am kind of zittery at the moment. Okay, and now some pictures in color...bear with them la...:D

Yesterday, today and tomorrow - that's the name of the design of this ring designed by Cartier....this one is a duplicate though.

...La Divsy!

Talking of the kid within..it is fun to be with kids...like I said before it was a hectic weekend this time..but I take out time for what I like doing..and so here are some pictures of this little angel called 'Ahaana'.

Kids have new things to explore everytime....
Sun bathing...big time...

Watch out my walker...

Choti Mishi with that deadly smile...

Though subtle, but a smile in the making...

two little angels...holding on to one another...

Ahm! With two angels by my side, that smile is natural...my adorable Divsy and Ahaana...a picture I was dying to put up here for so long....am so glad Divsy is in form again, gyming and all that...wait until I shift to Noida ....then its gonna be the same old times "cruising in my first car..acting like movie stars on a friday night..." - a song so close to our hearts, when we would drive aimlesslessly and listen to it.and sing along loud...and remember that one 'bheegi bheegi raaton mein'...we would lose count of the times we would play that one and the modulations that you would do........memories of those times make me so happy. Thanks darling, for being there with me..through thick and thin..for being my angel!

Regular WU...

...last 3-4 days have been so hectic and so bloody dramatic for me. It was a total family weekend for me...Bhabhi...adorable as ever...ready to do and die...Bhai and Pinki...wonderful hosts...as usual treated us with Momo's....and finally a great lunch at Divya's place. Hectic alright but did find time to click some beautiful moments with little sunshine. It is always such a pleasure to meet up with Ahaana and her Mommy - two beautiful angels. Not to forget 'Raam Raam Sa' - who is full of warmth.

Change seems to have caught on my soul big time. :-) This time, it is my helper...they really form the part and parcel of your life and a day without them is a sin to live. So, I have one oldie with me this time. A new venture again..and all you women, would agree with me...
A number flashes on my cell phone almost after a month and a half - I try to figure out who's number it is...boy, when I pick up the call, is it a surprise? It is the most beautiful surprise in years gone by. Finally, someone who keeps me sad for so so many days, decides to call me up. The fact of the matter is we can't live without one another. Period. God Bless. And this time big time, han!
Yesterday, after 3-4 hours of standing around in Authority offices and all, we finally got the registry done for the house. A Task Done. It is pretty painful and time consuming.
And guess what - Roxid, Sinarest, and JOSHINA (I finally bought this one) - together have not been able to curb the dreaded pain in my throat...it kept me awake all night. Doc, you better tell me what to eat.

A Saturday so Red.

Not the post that I wish to write here (it is still in the making and on my desktop) but giving an update on what goes on still remains one of my favourites.

The theme was RED in my mind and ethnic in hers....absolutely different from one another in thoughts...eventually, we got going with red.

A little bit of this and a little bit of that - and together we made a series like never before. What came out was probably not the ethnic look that we wanted but a series of a kind. Guess this was the best of our captures in so many years. Adding a few of them here..not all edited yet...don't kill me for that JLO...I know you don't agree that these are the best shots but trust me, the first two are my best bet.

Picture Graphy...

My focus was the tear - because it was a happy moment. The old man was emotional seeing his great grand child performing on stage.

Nature calling - watch out for the kiddo baside the rock!

The one in sepia tone was better but cud not upload it - yet this shall remain my favourite for days to come. That's Mishi and her cousin in the picnic yesterday.
