Sweeetttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt!!!!
In continuation to my previous post 'Sweet Poison'....
Hell no - not again. Never again. I think God has started trying my patience when it comes to the word 'sweet'. Each time and everytime, life cannot slip by with a silly excuse 'you are sweet'. Not everytime I want to hear 'you are sweet' when I have thought 100 times before I uttered a line or wrote a sentence, still debating whether I should have said or written. :) Is this oft repeated cliche'd word an excuse people often like to use not to be curt and sound very rude? Perhaps yes. Do I think so? Perhaps yes. Do I use it myself? Sometimes yes. Do I want others to use it for me. Hell NO.
I don't want to give another scenario...but its almost like 'Can I sleep with you?....WHY? Well, because I think you are SWEET!!!

And now I know what not to call you.....but come on.....ain't you stretching the poison in the sweet a bit too much.....as long as you are not diabetic, sweet is GOOD-just kidding....but do people really say good things only to bed people-me thinks ur faith in humanity runs a bit low....and I think the ladies are smart enough to judge which way the scenarios are gonna go....KEEP THE FAITH-IN YOURSELF n take it from there
When you say the faith is low - I thinlk that sure is the case. I haven't met many men who would otherwise say things. :) The ulterior motive is always that.
Monica, I completely agree!!! But the positive side of this is that I really really cherish those few men in my life who have other motives (or no motive for that matter) in calling me 'sweet'... so just look at the brighter side and smile :) And Sanjeev is right...ladies have that 'sixth sense' to judge where things are heading... so just use that and don't get boggled down by those crappy people!
Sakshi...I am not bogged down! But its a study that goes on and with every day, it gets stronger in belief.
Your comment reminds me of the famous jibe...MEN HAVE A ONE TRACK MIND.........just to strengthen your faith a little try the CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL series-n thanks, Sakshi, for the concurrence
I am a man and think for the most part that "men have one track minds". However, take me for example, I would much rather be in the company of women than with men. I do not want to sleep with each of them, I just like the company of women better. And if a man has not invested of himself to win your loyalty he is not worth being with. Nor is a woman for that matter. Relationships take time. I hate this McDonalds mentality that thinks everything should happen quickly. There is no value in "quickly". Maybe for some. Oh well.
