Khwaja Rocks...

...Weekend nearing an end is always painful. Quite a hectic and eventful weekend - from good to bad! The good I thank God for..and the bad I am used to...Life is beautiful and I will never cease to make it even more beautiful.
Aawargi, me and Divsy went watching Jodha Akbar..(You feel so good when you are with your best buddies together)....hmmmm....one time watch for sure...nice portrayal of characters. I never knew Akbar was so romantic (!)....and I almost fell for him until someone reminded that he was the one who separated Salim and Anaarkali...[HOW COULD HE DO THAT!!! Shooo...huh!!]....Ashutosh has done a good job as a director....it was a task picturizing history...liked some bit of cinematography too....I anyway like running horses on big screen...they look so powerful. Looking at horses, I got reminded of 'International velvet'...a beautiful english movie of a black horse that I had seen some 20 years back......will check if I can get that dvd somewhere...okay, back to JA...Hrithik is too good to be true...and knows his character...Aish - plastic beauty of which I have no doubts left...but okay to watch....but what scored for me was that one song...and worth a mention is the 'Khwaja' song...when it started...the first few lines...I was all set to rip my hair apart...but as it goes on...it IS terrific. It touched me completely...I had tears in my eyes when the song ended...and what a terrific picturization towards the end....so very soulful. It instantly connects you to GOD. AR rehman rocks! Please do listen to the song...and feel GOD within you. You can listen to the song here...http://tumtube.com/freestuff/?p=243
And phewwwww...did I mention the lenses I saw this weekend? 5 in total...(2 of one friend and 2 of another) and of them the best one...Sigma (if I remember it right)...I don't know the name but it was all iron and B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L.....the mention of friends is reserved for later times :-)...come April..am more than eager to get my hands on a nice camera now...for now the idea is to buy a Canon 40D (and thanks to 'ST' (Motu) for this recommendation)...but let's see what can I finally get for myself...
I intended doing some pictography..but did not find that kind of time off...did capture 5-6 moments, which I should be able to post after I am done with the editing......

I personally suggest that one should start with a good pro-sumer Digital instead of a dSLR because its not too late that you realize that you need more lenses and equipment when you start taking pictures, and that means more money, which is not always possible...

I remember when I got my 400D, I used to crave for a zoom lens which I managed to buy only after 6 months of wait...

My suggestion, go for a "good" pro-sumer like a Panasonic Fz50, or a Sony H9... take pictures for about an year... and then decide on a dSLR...

Ye kya confusion hai? I need to talk to you on this. When I told you about this one on friday, you said 'go for it'...

Confusion nai hai, thoda sa practical decision hai... so that you get most of what you will from the dSLR at a much cheaper price so that you can experiment with your genres till you are sure of what you want to click the most...

We discussed a camera model and not on what exactly you were going to buy... I would never ask anyone to jump to a dSLR directly without playing around with photography for a while, and for all I know some of these Pro-sumers work like magic if the hands that hold them are good...

We can talk at length regarding this for sure...

Khwaja is an amazing song....and A.R. is almost always pure magic. And the lenses can easily be an alternate profession with the amount of time and passion you give to it-go for it

Aren't you a zombie with the 24 hours shift in the hospital? ...Khwaja..am glad you liked it....and no...time and passion is fine but lenses cannot be a profession for me..some things only for the sake of interest. :-)

Calmness is a central thread in most of your snaps....if you analyse your snaps, unme ek stirtha hai...a peculiar sense of being stationary and happy / pensive...as to why it's missing big time-probably life in the fast lane.....remember our first discussion when we met after 17 yrs-go easy on yourself...
