...sweet movie - innocent depiction of love in a movie after a long time...and while Karishma and Shahid would have parted ways, they share a good chemistry on screen in this one. Loved Shahid's character....and ofcourse the bubbly bhatinda ki jaatni!
This movie followed by a post that I read - Life is not a fairytale...something crops up in mind and here goes..Life may not be a fairytale. YOU can make it any tale - a sad one, a happy one, a busy one, a memorable one, an adventurous one or last but not the least - an unknown tale. Maybe it is easier said than done..so I will leave my friend with that thought.
Coming back to the movie - when you are in love, you become so much like the other person....I guess you do everything that the other person does....you do everything the way the other person would have done. Quite a thought. I realized it much earlier in life, though. And am sure everybody else too did. (mujhe kuch yaad aa raha hai ..hmmmm - tum hote tou aisa karte, tum hote tou waisa karte, tum ye kehte, tum wo kehte..lolz...silsila..you guessed it right)
Ye tou hui film aur meri filmy post....get's get back to the basics of my day today... Life, with every new proposal (read RFP/RFI), seems on a roller coster ride. I decked up real well in the morning (One because it was a friday - I love to dress up on a friday, when you know you can wear anything casual...and two because we had to go for a party followed by cards..)...I was pretty happy with the way I looked until the time someone said the shoes were a little too loud..but that's fine, I think I can carry anything well, as long as I like it. So, a Dior black tee with denim capris and black stellatoes with polka dotted ribbons was my dress code, and oh yes, my ICDW 'Green Tea'. (ICDW - I can't do without). Besides I had JLO (my personal dress designer to approve the same). Interestingly, she wore a nice combo too - a patiala pyjama with a short kurta, and a matching clip. She has a bizzarre taste and guess what, I love it..it floors me completely.
... I got distracted...that's fine...who doesn't...back now...so until 4, I was still sure that I would leave office at 5.30 and get going towards south delhi. By 5.45, I had to actually call up Manish to carry on with his plans. I was dead tired......and all I wanted to do was go home and relax. I would have written about 50 mails and spoken to atleast 20 people in those one and a half hour. I wonder how do people manage so many things at a time. I am already loosing the grip there. So much for the work...enjoy your friday evening.
What's cooking for the weekend? Well, a shopping spree ( I am gonna' buy a classy watch for myself) and my next novel 'The Ranch'.
Be with me.
