On vacation....

sounds great ain't it...well am on a good vacation starting yesterday...till 2nd Jan now...

..am surprised at the way my aircard is behaving - it is usually so slow that i did not quite expect it to work here in my hometown. But surprisingly, it is superfast. And yeah - am here where I belong!

Did I tell you I banged my car last week and ever since then I was irritated - but good that I took it to service station and got it done up again. Thanks to insurance I did not have to pay much.

I, Manish and Mili came to kotdwara yesterday afternoon - what a pleasant weather and drive it was..the roads sure have improved even better. Aur phir apna ghar, aur pa and ma and scotch....complete bliss. Yesterday evening I and Manish went for a long walk...had to turn back coz Pa called that my Para commando was home waiting for me. My favourite cousin, who is a para commando in the Indian Army - shorter than me by half a inch, just another naughty guy a few years back, and today going to be a Lt Colonel - teaching young lieutenents operations in Mahou in YO courses. I still remember the days when when in summer vacations we used to sit out in a khatia - hardy boys giving him company and Nancy drew giving me solace. Gonna be good spending time with him here.

Morning Dad and Manish went for a walk early - I stayed home with Ma and did some knitting with her (my favourite in winters few years back)...Ma made a cap, a mufler, a pullover, and now socks for mishi. Ain't nani an adorable person? Let little mishi decide that.

In another hour or so, we leave for Kandi (a place uphill) - dad and ma and some other frens have organized a picnic for us...we taking food etc from home. Pictures should follow later..infact now that am here for another 3 days, let me try uploading some really good pictures that I clicked. (Okay, I will let you folks decide that.)

Words Don't Come Easy...

I actually had to make an effort to write the title of my post - I have always believed that I can go on writing whatever and whenever. But just this one time, words actually don't come easy.

There are times in your life when you can't afford to write even a single word. Trust e there are such stories, such instances, such episodes in the lives of illions of people around us.

God Bless. Amen.

And my friend, we shall win.
